The Award IUS et SOCIETAS

For students of Czech, Slovak, and other universities

The competition targets all students who are able to discuss the role of law and justice in society. Awarded will be essays that will contain the most interesting impulses, views, and questions.

Inspiring essays of sociologists,political scientists, jurists, philosophers, economists, and students of other majors are expected with great interest.

Panel consisting of representatives of Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University, Faculty of Law of Masaryk University, Jan Hus Education Foundation, the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic, the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office of the Czech Republic, and of the Public Defender of Rights will decide about the award winners.
